Ok, here's a plant ID quiz. This is going to be a difficult one because you would have had to look very closely at flowers to know what they are. An appreciation of the minute.
If you enlarge the photo the header will tell you what it is.
Hi entangled, don't feel too badly, I wouldn't have gotten any except for the lobelia which is a pic. of the full flower. If you look closely at the previous post of the 'butterflies magnolia the inner structures of the flowers should look like two of the quiz photos. It's fun looking at macro/micro photos to see things you normally wouldn't see.
Hi Oldroses, there's a whole other world out there we don't see. Getting some new macro camera equipment as enabled me to appreciate the minute. Fascinating to see structures normally missed by casual glancing.
Those are flowers? I was going to guess that they're some sort of satellite photos from an alien world.

Fantastic pictures! I only got the dogwood right.
Good for you Anthony for getting the dogwood right. If I hadn't taken the photos, I wouldn't know what any were. Well, maybe the lobelia.
ReplyDeleteI have to start paying more attention. I didn't get a single one.

ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me to take a magnifying glass into the garden.
