The original colony died out this year but these mushrooms appeared across a paved driveway so I assume the spores from the original must have been transported there. It's interesting to track something for three years and surprisingly, these mushrooms for all their seeming fragility has proven to be quite reliable, fruiting in mid autumn.Kihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05576859749293959381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9695751.post-90527286097498116592007-12-03T19:07:00.000-08:002007-12-03T19:07:00.000-08:00What an incredible collection of mushrooms - the p...What an incredible collection of mushrooms - the photographs show their textures so clearly. They take on so many forms and colors they can rival some flowers. And they are a surprise because they pop up anywhere. Thanks for stopping by.Kihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05576859749293959381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9695751.post-11230762392905387152007-11-29T17:39:00.000-08:002007-11-29T17:39:00.000-08:00mushrooms have to be the weirdest plant to me. They always remind me of cheese for some reason.Priscilla Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12353263318112375137noreply@blogger.com
