"Smarty plants" - plant intelligence

Thought plants were dumb? Maybe we just don't know how to communicate with them. Here's a Wired online magazine article about plant intelligence.

Hi Ki,

Tomorrow (friday) I am posting a picture of my Beni-Kawa which has its fall color. I just saw that you asked me if I grew any native Euonymus. I don't but have several nice cultivars of alatus and E. sachalinensis .

I'll be interested to see yours grown up.
