"Smarty plants" - plant intelligence

  1. Hi Ki,

Tomorrow (friday) I am posting a picture of my Beni-Kawa which has its fall color. I just saw that you asked me if I grew any native Euonymus. I don't but have several nice cultivars of alatus and E. sachalinensis .

I'll be interested to see yours grown up.

  4. Now I don't feel as silly for talking to my banana tree all summer!

  5. Professor Mancuso should check into why flowers open the day after Carol hosts Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day - I remain convinced they're doing it on purpose!

  6. Lisa, why're you hanging out with banana trees? You know they're a bunch of hoods. Now, a nice, neat fir would be alright or...

Ooo, a flower conspiracy. I love a good conspiracy theory. Indeed this needs to be investigated Annie.
