Singapore plumeria (frangipani)

This is the second set of flowers to bloom. Actually the first "set" was only a single bloom. There is a fragrance if you walk past the plant. Tropical flowers with an incongruous winter snow backdrop Posted by Hello

That is beautiful! I wondered about your frog pic, though... it looks like it could be titled "help! oops, too late"

Hi Ilona,
The plumeria project was a nice success and a much needed winter blues pick me up-fragrant too. Unfortunately it somehow got infested with scale insects which are extremely difficult to get rid of when only using mechanical means (scraping them off) as opposed to using pesticides.
I love that supplicating frog but didn't think anyone would recognize it as such.
Thanks for writing.

Hi KI,
How did you resolve the infestation? I have 6 cuttings that I purchased from the NJ 2008 Flower Show (edison), and they are budding at the tips.
Thanks.
Ron
