Those are flowers? I was going to guess that they're some sort of satellite photos from an alien world.

Good for you Anthony for getting the dogwood right. If I hadn't taken the photos, I wouldn't know what any were. Well, maybe the lobelia.
I have to start paying more attention. I didn't get a single one.
Hi entangled, don't feel too badly, I wouldn't have gotten any except for the lobelia which is a pic. of the full flower. If you look closely at the previous post of the 'butterflies magnolia the inner structures of the flowers should look like two of the quiz photos. It's fun looking at macro/micro photos to see things you normally wouldn't see.
You've inspired me to take a magnifying glass into the garden.
Hi Oldroses, there's a whole other world out there we don't see. Getting some new macro camera equipment as enabled me to appreciate the minute. Fascinating to see structures normally missed by casual glancing.
